I haven't had time to get professional pictures taken yet, but here are some better pictures from my living room. The 6 coats of finish came out looking very good. After waiting several days, I also applied some paste wax. I'm very happy with the result.
Dude!!!!! That is a piece of art. Very impressed.
ReplyDeleteTom,

ReplyDeleteHi Tom,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog about a year ago when I was thinking about starting a Maloof rocker of my own. I just finished my chair, and I want to let you know how helpful your site has been! The DVDs are great, but your added perspective, details, challenges, photos, and commentary on the process definitely helped me finish this first rocker. Thanks for taking the time to record everything!
Best of luck to you,
Matt Stahl
Hi Matt,
DeleteYou are the first person I've heard from that has actually used my blog in completing a chair! I'm so happy. That is exactly why I did the blog. Congratulations on completing your chair. I've been busy working on other projects, but now I'm fired up to start work on rocking chair #2. Stand by for more blogging!
